Waking
A hand extended but not received. A step too close but too far. A mirage that is too hard to see. A vision of what could be. No promise of a tomorrow, just a dream. Unfortunately a dream that you cannot forget, but it is time to deal with the waking world. Reality feels as real as the pillow you wake up on.
